Does anybody know why I can’t drink alcohol without feeling terrible. Last night I had one small gin and tonic and I’ve woken up feeling ill. Crazy. Just curious to know why alcohol affects people with Hastimotos so badly.

It's not just Hashi's. Some of us with non-Hashi's hypothyroidism have poor tolerance to alcohol.
I wondered if it has something to do with liver function? Does anyone know?
I have regular liver function tests due to another medication I take, mine are always fine and stable.
