My hair started growing back after I increased my iron dose slightly, & started taking a calcium free multimineral supplement.

Mine thickened back up ALOT after starting on levo. Been good ever since.

You can add me to the list. Interestingly, when my T3 dose was too high, hair loss resumed, but stopped when I was on an appropriate dose.

Chinatimes101,

Mine shed hugely upon T3 introduction but grew back after about 6-12 months as thyroid hormones balanced out.

Inadequate iron and/or cortisol levels can also influence hair growth.

My Dr would not put me on Levo, despite having flutuating TSH levels.

Hair fall for over a year now periodically comes and goes.... Good job I had thick hair to begin with.... also, hardly have any eyebrows. Has of today my tsh is 3.1.

Think I have Hashis

No not on any meds for under active thyroid......Just take Bio Kult probiotic, omega 3..... Trulicity for type 2 diabetes.

In March the TSH was 2.2 ((0.2-4..0) and by the end of April it was 3.1.
