I am currently waiting for blood results to come back but I wondered has anybody ever experienced Adrenal Insuffiency and is there any link what so ever to T3?
Since being on T3 I’ve never got my sweet spot of feeling amazing, still trialling it and waiting recent bloods to come back so I know if an increase is required or not, but has anybody any info if T3 can cause Adrenal probs?
Thanks 🙏🏻

Quite the opposite for me. I follow the CT3 method by Paul Robinson as per his advice. I take half of my T3 at 3am. My cortisol was very low at 135 at 9am and below the scale at 179. It is now a healthy 520 upper quartile of scale at 9am. Your body’s natural circadian rhythm is to raise cortisol and T3 starting midnight and peaking early morning. The T3 drives the Cortisol production. I take my T4 at 3am too. This keeps my tablets away from food and vitamin supplements. I wake naturally now at 3am and go back to sleep or use mindfulness to switch off and return to sleep. It’s inconvenient but I am functioning better now. Hope this helps. 🙂
That’s exactly how I thought Sandy. I thought t3 helps aid adrenals if used properly and at the right dosing and timing. I maybe need to try Paul’s cincardian method. Currently waiting results to come back, to see where my levels are at. I take my mornkng t4 at 7 am and t3 around 3pm, but maybe I need to split the doses I am only on a low dose of t3 at the moment 5mcg but may get upped depending on my next results.
I stopped taking t3 in the morning as I was becoming jittery but I don’t think I was on the right amount of t4 at that time since that’s been upped also and feeling more stable with just sleepiness lows in the afternoon around 2pm onwards I get lethargic again.
Always tired in the morning but that’s normal for me now! Thanks for your advice 😊
