Are there any recognised organisations/ groups that you can join for information/ support about addisons/ai? So for I've found addisons.org.uk they look like they would be helpful (I'm not yet diagnosed but fairly sure it's going to go that way)

Yes Addison's group help people with either primary or secondary adrenal insufficiency. The Pituitary Foundation has useful information pituitary.org.uk and also have a helpline with a nurse to advise should you face any difficulties.
