Finasteride and Levothyroxine

My Dad has just had his results back from his recent blood test of which the Dr did not give the actual results, but apparently my dads level of levothyroxine is ok, however, he has been asked to make an appointment to get his prostate checked out. He has had issues before and has been on Finasteride (not sure of the correct spelling) for about 8 years. Would a normal yellow top result give an indication of any issues?

Thanks

Kirsty

It sounds like procedure based on his past experience and I know there are potential prostate issues with fin use (by it's very nature of operation). They should take into account that use otherwise tell them. Best to await results and not worry.
