Hi, I picked up monthly prescription and was given Northstar ( never had it before) , normally the pharmacy gives Wockhardt or Teva. Started taking it last Saturday, and noted that yesterday and today my thyroid feels ‘itchy’ (weird) and has enlarged slightly. Anyone else experienced symptoms with a ‘brand’ change. Would a brand change that didnt suit me manifest so quickly.

Northstar is Actavis packaged for Lloyds pharmacies.
(Almus is Actavis packaged for Boots.)
If you are in any way intolerant to one or more of the ingredients, it could manifest very quickly.
What dose are you on to get Wockhardt? It only comes in 25 microgram tablets.
125/ daily - been to Pharmacist and they are swapping them out. Annoyingly Normally get prescribed any combo of Actavis/Wockhardt/Teva to make 125. Whatever is on the shelf at the time. Seems Weird that I have obviously had Actavis before without issue - now four days into Northstar my throid is affected. Maybe its not the meds at all. 😬
TY - just been to see pharmacist and they are swapping back to Teva ( been ok on that).
I can't have Teva brand, I asked my GP make a note for the chemist, so I never have it again.
