Direct FT3 method

Hi all,

On deiodinase.org/2013/05/23/h... I read/understand that FT3 test results may not always be trustworthy because many laboratories use the so-called 'direct FT3 method'. Does anyone have any thoughts/ideas/experiences related to this information?

Thanks!
