Just been upped from 75mg to 100mg under-active thyroid tablets I’m now 10days over due for my period... all the signs are there...lower tummy and back pain, spotty face,short temper. Is this common when medication is changed? And should I contact GP if it continues like this...?

Do you have symptoms of being over medicated? This can sometimes happen when levo is increased and it takes a few weeks to settle down.
Could you be pregnant? Obvious reason. Lol.
Your body is getting used to the extra 25mcg of hormone.
Your doctor should re-test you in a few weeks. Go by how you feel too.

Is doctor right to reduce thyroxine by 50 mg to 100mg
