I recently was given generic brand levothyroxine instead of synthroid and I got stabbing pains on the top of my head on the right side shooting down thru my right eye to my nose and my right leg gave out on me. I’m suspecting it’s react to the med.. anyone else have issues?

Allergic reaction to levothyroxine
What were you given?
If nothing else, describe the markings on the tablets.
Tirostint, was the medication
I don't understand why you regard Tirosint as "generic"?
Assuming you are getting the gel caps marketed as Tirosint, they are a patented product and not generic in the usual senses.
They are also very much more expensive than other levothyroxine tablets.
It would be surprising for the dispensing pharmacy to supply Tirosint unless specifically prescribed.
Many people find Tirosint slightly more potent than the same dose in levothyroxine tablets. This is probably because they are better absorbed. Maybe you need a slightly lower dose?
They had me taking the gel capsules and I was taking 175 mcg it was bad. I had never taken that med before it said levothyroxine under the name of it so I was confused on the med and that’s why. Bad side effects but now back on synthroid and I’m doing much better 😊
Same dose?
Yes, I was on 200 mcg they lowered it down some. My Tsh was 13.4 down to .02 in a month and a half my insurance had to do my yearly ok for my synthroid so they gave me the tirostint samples so I wouldn’t be without a med. I essentially went 3 and half weeks without meds. My body felt it I feel like poo ugh
