Dr who treats symptoms rather than bloods- please help!

Hello all,

I am searching for an empathetic doctor/endocrinologist who is happy to treat symptoms and not rely on thyroid blood work. I don't care where their location is in the UK. I feel like my online search is leading me in circles, not least because understandably no names are usually mentioned. I have been told of an eminent Dr T in Edinburgh, but in recent posts it appears that he will not medicate further once T3 is at a specific level. I need to find someone who will work beyond the basic bloods. Please, please pm me any recommendations. I will be very grateful, getting desperate.

As arcticsun has requested, any recommendations by PM please to conform with posting guidelines of not discussing individual doctors on the open forum without their permission. I will close the post to replies so that no information is posted here.
