T3 quey

Hi all,I’ve been on 100mg T4 and 20mcg of T3 for a few months now and last bloods were acceptable. I’ve had a nasty eye infection so my sight wasn’t great and I mixed up my packets. Took 2 x20mcg T3 instead of my T4. I noticed that despite an awful time at work I have had more energy, been more productive and have gone to bed at 1030pm, which is unheard of! Also I slept better. Coincidence or T3? Out to the experts please 🤔 ( I should say I will not get anymore T3 from my GP and as I was feeling so much better I’m not due to see the endo again/bloods for another 8months which I was more than happy with aS my GP has been very unhelpful with the whole situation!)

The question is: acceptable to whom? Do you find your levels acceptable? The fact that you felt better when taking extra T3 would suggest not. Pretty certain it was the T3 and not coincidence. :)

Wise as always GG! 😬

I did feel so much better taking the 20mcg so I don’t think I’d noticed a bit of a slip back. My endometriosis is flaring up so some symptoms cross over. Work has been absolutely ridiculous and stressful so i put tiredness etc down to that. I’ve zero chance of my GP giving me any extra T3, she’s already hacked off enough I get any. Maybe I’ll try some that I buy myself? If anyone can PM me a source and prices that would be great.

If no-one does PM you, write a new question asking just that. :)

Surely will GG, thanks as always. I was hoping that I’d reached an equilibrium but apparently not 🙄

You will, one day, if you're allowed to experiment. :) But, doctors are terrified of prescribing too much because they don't understand thyroid very well.
