Does anyone know if there is a difference in carbimazole made by different manufacturers and if so would it effect patient symptoms? Thanks in advance .

They will have the same active ingredient but you might be affected by different excipients in the different brands eg one brand I've checked, contains lactose monohydrate, maize starch, citric acid monohydrate and magnesium stearate; whilst another contains anhydrous lactose, magnesium stearate, croscarmellose sodium, and red iron oxide. So perhaps ask for a different brand, the options of which are bnf.nice.org.uk/medicinal-f...
