What to eat with high cortisol

Hi guys. I am new to this site. I would really appreciate your advice on what to eat and what not with very high cortisol levels. I use to gym every morning but apparently lifting weights spikes cortisol levels. I understand that caffeine is not allowed? Does this mean no pre workout? I want to start lifting weights again tomorrow morning. Don't know if im doing the right thing? I have fastest with only water which has not dropped my weigh or bloatedness. I have water retention all over. Should I eat or not? What do you guys recommend to eat to not spike the cortisol levels. I really need to lose this weight. Please help guys... this use to be me 6months ago... now ive gained 25kg due to high cortisol...

If you have Cushing's syndrome or disease due to either a pituitary or adrenal tumour then you will find it very hard to lose any weight. Cortisol changes the way that we metabolise carbohydrates. High cortisol levels can also affect the muscles so that they become weak so be careful doing weight training. The best thing is to eat a healthy diet with low carbs to limit weight gain.
