Hello nice people! First of all, happy new year to all of you and let 2019 brings wonderful things to you all.
I thought I would give you and update since my last post and questions after I was diagnosed hyperT.
I managed to get and appointment with the endocrino early Jan due to pure luck when checking the appointments online. No further tests were done so I have to trust the endocrino that I have Graves.. I have been put on Carbimazole, 30 mg and I have to say that my brain is coming back!!! No side effects so far and I think I will stop proponolol now as my heart rate is also fine.
So, all in all, i am happy and wanted to thank you all for your nice words and advices. I hope I won’t develop hypo now on this dose but I will adapt the treatment if I start anything weird😬. blood tests end of feb, then end of April...
Weird that we need to take those drugs for 12 to 18 months as clearly..I am fine lol!
I know I am lucky having read a lot of posts on this forum. I do hope that everyone still struggling will stabilise this year and feel as good as I do.
Thank you all! I am staying a member of this forum and will keep posting updates.. I don’t feel the right to help anyone as I am really clueless but the day I feel a bit more comfortable answering questions, I promise I will!
Now I have to return to the job market and am concentrating on this😊.
