Rash on neck

Many people with a thyroid issue have two necklace type wrinkles on the neck. I live in Crete and I heard of a Doctor here who knew if people had a thyroid issue based on this. I see it all the time.

Am sure the replies you had last time should prove helpful. Difficult to see the rash in the pic - could be my phone 😊

Yes, the rash is very difficult to see in the picture, even though I'm on the desktop. I even copied and pasted onto Word and played around with brightness and contrast! Can only see the two little creases.

Could you describe where exactly it is, its outline shape, colour, whether it's raised and bumpy or not and how far it extends? A lot of things cause a rash and are difficult to pin down. If it gets worse or starts to irritate or become painful it might need sorting, but otherwise it really seems nothing to worry about - except for the cosmetic effect. Do you have makeup on - maybe that's why we can't see it? Which means nobody else is likely to either!

Hi Jnetti the rash on neck is really hard to explain but I do get a burning sensations sometimes and a crawling sensation. I have had my bloods done yesterday so waiting on results. As I am under active and I take 50mg levy thyroxine. I also have a rash on my chin with tiny spots. Am so stressed about this it all happens so sudden last month.

Did you get any reason why you were getting the rash as i am suffering the same problem and I also had a white patch on my neck before the rash suddenly appeared 3 weeks ago - Doctor said i had an allergy and gave me steroids i have finished the course and still my neck is rip roaring red, burning and sore also have it on my eyelids - i would be keen to hear how you are doing
