I reduced my Levothroxine to 175 one day and 150 next day. ( previously 175 each day) This seems to have now put my results in the normal range. But I was given HuxD3 capsules 20,000 iu one each day for 15 days then one per month (since July) had last one 1st Dec and then blood done 10th Dec. It’s only gone up from 46 to 53 - where can I go from here?
Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.

My vit d was 30, I had the loading doses then took 800iu everyday after. After about 3 months I got up to 96. Maybe a daily dose of vit d3 800-1000iu may help?
I would have thought you'd be prescribed the daily maintenance dose of 800 IU colecalciferol (D3) following on from the initial Loading dose.
Did you notice that your Calcium is at the lower end of the range and your Phosphatase is just over range, worth keeping an eye on. Maybe eat more calcium rich foods? Definitely ask for regular prescription of D3 maintenance dose.
Have you ever had an Ultrasound scan of your Thyroid and Parathyroids? I think if you were under an Endocrinologist he might order one.
Thank you for your reply. No maintenance dose has been prescribed but I am aware to get the level to around 100 so will be arranging something - I was just concerned that after 6 months of a high loading dose and maintenance that the level is still low. I was wondering if it’s an absorbency issue or whether someone could shed some light on anything that could cause the level not to rise?
Thank you for the info on the calcium, I have a good healthy diet and as my mum had osteoporosis and concerned about calcium in my diet. I will do some googling on that too - also the ALP level - will do some googling of that too.
I will suggest a daily dose to my GP. Don’t know on the gall stones but will google the symptoms - I do get very bloated and nauseous at times but put that down to Undiagnosed irritable bowel.
