Developed ear pain and pain on left side when swallowing

Hi

I have posted on here and posted my results was diagnosed with hyperthiyroid overactive thiyroid my t3 was 24.2 my GP has tried me on carbimazole and PTU I have had bad reactions to both drugs and are now only on beta blockers..I came off PTU after about ten days as I was vometing I could not stand or do anything on it .I have been without anti thiyroid drugs for about 2 wks now and still waiting on an endo appointment..this week end I have developed a bad pain on swollowing it's in my left ear and down to my left gland it feels like swollen glands but only on the left side iv had a hot water bottle on it for 2 days now I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it has anything to do with my hyperthiyroid illness I also have a headache but only on the left side..to be honest I'm really frightened to contact my GP as he always seems like I'm wasting his time..when I last saw him which was about 3 wks ago I showed him a photo of my arm which I had scratched so bad it was bleeding..he said,,,Ho what's that you have now..and he clanced at it and said Ho it's only a skin irritation 😡 I felt like he really didn't care...and I'm still waiting for him to get me an appointment with the endo..also I have been told by a member of staff at the surgery not to go to A& E as their is nothing they can do for me..I have been hauled up in my home now as I have no energy to go out I have even taken to having my weekly shop delivered now as I can no longer do it..I want to ring the surgery today about my ear and pain and my gland also to ask how my appointment with the endo is coming on,,but I'm frightened because to be honest it's always the same answer...Ho the doctor is busy I will see if he can call you later...I'm so bloody sick..😭😭😭😭😭

Hi birkie sorry u not feeling well ..when I was diagnosed with graves disease (overactive ) thyroid more than two years ago with other symptoms I developed pain in my right side thyroid lobe which goes straight into my right ear and same side head ...eye ...even nose bone like u I was on carbimazole for really short time when my endo discharged me I was still complaining about pain on few symptoms but his answer was it's not thyroid related 2 years after that getting pain regularly somehow convinced my GP who sent me for ultrasound of neck again and radialogist reported one 10x10mm nodule on it which I did not have in my first scan two years ago I'm waiting for my appointment with new endo now but saying u not alone it is thyroid related ask your GP to send u for ultrasound and yes when I swallow or eat it feels like stinging and then I start getting pain and feel off balance with that...hope this help
