Not looked on Wiki but Mischief Night was and may still be common practise in North Lincs and South York’s and parts of West Yorks on 4th November.As a child it was tieing adjacent doorknobs together ,knocking and running. As the years passed it became more nasty and as adults have had flour and egg mixed over the car and it is very hard to remove when set.Had eggs thrown at windows and walls.
Probably the cleverest was a lad who fixed a tiddlywinks piece to some thread so it tapped on the window as the wind blew.Took some finding in the dark.
