On a couple of occasions I have felt so ill during the day, lasting only a day, and the only thing I can think of is that on those occasions I have taken my meds 2-4h before waking. Can that be the reason why I've felt ill? Why?

Could taking t4 and t3 2-3h before waking make you feel bad?

I take my Levo and T3 anywhere between 3am and 7am, depending on when I need the loo. It doesn't make me feel bad. However, we're all different. If you think that's the problem, just don't take your thyroid meds at that time.
I do the same but always 5am with alarm clock... Is that not necessary? Can we take the meds on different times? That would make my sleep and life easier
I do that since long time I find that working better for me then taking it upon waking up.
I have no need for an alarm clock, I always need the loo during the night. I'd never get back to sleep if I used an alarm clock.
You don't have to take your thyroid meds at exactly the same time every day. Approximately is good enough. So if know you get up every night for the loo, then you should be fine taking it at whatever time you have your nightly trip.
