Re ENTs: They sometimes do fine needle biopsies and thyroid surgery. They also are equipped to look at your larynx to see why you may be hoarse. I saw one at Johns Hopkinsi in Baltimore, MD in the US but chose to have surgery by someone at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania who only operates on thyroid glands and parathyroids. She is affiliated with endocrinology and oncology.
I had a very early stage Papillary cancer with no complications or follow up treatment necessary via oncology. I continue with the endocrinology department.
