,work and no all about yu and from i went throuh hell ,,,, so ireally, do hope you all get me ,, cos i am not that good at makeing pepole understand what I am , on about even thought my daughter added a spelling thing to my laptop mmm.. but I fell ill overb13 years agoo .. and since then I had apple after apple with the benefit of trying to prove I am ill ,and they have penly off medical off prove too yet i still get these dam form from to fill in when they no I don't them very well and i get so stressed out with them its set my mental health off were i start with self-harming, that I am not proud off but i really ill .and I sit and i think back to the vey first appeel I had and the doctor on said to me ,, ie deborah I am stopeing this meeting for now, as I thing youir now for years has been so poorly, treaed thats it should be looked in to futher , so dont worry,, he said I am not saying to you have lost this I am saying it will go in your favor,, then he said only thing is the next you come it won't be us but they should have gone through all the papaer, then from then I sat about 5 apples befor I wn my caes,, and thatb wasnt for d.w.p .. that came next . and they are still at me send more form my illness and storry if too long I njust feel is my life weather it fighting any more and keep going though this any more, when then I am so ill and yet theybstill bouther me hope yu all get understand me thanks debbie

As this is a thyroid forum, and you seem to be asking about benefits, I think you might be better off finding a forum that helps specifically with that.

Hi Debbie,

Do you have a thyroid problem ? I am sorry to hear you are repeatedly being assessed for your benefit which I feel is very unfair.

Do you get help with filling in forms ? If not do you have a care worker who could help you ? It is very stressful having to wait for the outcome of your assessment and this is not good when your self harming.

I have a friend in the same situation, he won his case but he is being called back in for assessment next week. It is such an unfair system.

I understood what you were tying to say but this site is for people with thyroid problems Debbie. I really do hope you have somebody helping you with this. Get professional help with filling the forms.

To be nice costs nothing... this dear lady touched my heart and has been on my mind since reading her post. I do hope she manages to get some help and goes forward to win her case. I have had the same battle and can remember the stress and torment it put me through. Xx

I am so sorry that you’re feeling so desperate, and emphasise with you with regards to the cruel benefits system, and the never ending forms we have to fill in. You clearly need support in doing this. Have you tried going to Citizens advice ? They can help you with forms and advise you on benefits, and help with appeals etc.

You don’t say what your conditions are, or If you have a thyroid problem

but I also go on the fibromyalgia uk forum as That’s what I’ve been diagnosed with, and a lot of people on there are very knowledgeable helpful, and supportive regarding benefits. I don’t know if not having fibromyalgia is an issue on that forum but I’ve found they are generally open, and often fibromyalgia and mental health go hand in hand. Please don’t despair, try to talk to someone and if you can’t there’s always the Samaritans a phone call away if you just need someone to listen. Please take care of yourself ! and I hope you get this sorted out. Warm virtual hugs.
