Had a awful night
I am sorry Denise37 that you have hypo. Myself, I was surprised that I had far more widespread pain/aches when on levothyroxine. As your dose increases hopefully your pain will resolve.
Your doctor will probably give you prescription for pain relief but he should give you a blood test first. It should always be at the earliest, fasting (you can drink water) and allow a gap of 24 hours between last dose of levo and the test and take afterwards.
Many doctors will name the pain as 'fibromyalgia' but it would do you a favour if he tested Free T4 and Free T3 to see if you're converting levo adequately. Some of us cannot do so and even if they can, some cannot get well on levo alone but try increases first to see if it resolves.

I was also surprised I had far more symptoms once diagnosed but thanks to TUK, I am now well. It can be a slow journey but we can get there in the end. Hopefully your GP will be able to get TSH, T4, T3, Free T4, Free T3 and thyroid antibodies (if you've not had antibodies tested) at your next blood test. If doctors no longer prescribe according to the patients' symptoms but only the TSH result we deserve a Full Thyroid Function Test.
