Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone knows what I should have engraved on it. I have panhypopituitarism, so pituitary gland doesn't work at all. Do I include my name, sisters phone number or just name of condition I have. Thank you x

I have my name and conditions on mine - no phone number as they change so often! Could always have extra details medication/phone numbers etc. on medication passport of card in handbag/purse.

You can't fit that much on them:

We have a range of disc sizes available:

Small elliptical disc - 4 lines

Standard elliptical disc - 5 lines

Large elliptical disc - 6 lines

Standard round disc - 6 lines

Large round disc - 7 lines

Cable disc - 5 lines

Shield disc - 4 lines

Dog Tag - 4 lines

If you are unsure our dedicated membership service team can help advise you. Should it not be possible to fit all your vital details onto your chosen disc, one of our medical advisors will contact you to help you choose a suitable alternative.

Your vital information will be engraved on your disc, any additional information is then held on your electronic record.

As it says, they will help if you ask. Think about it like this - what does a random stranger or a paramedic need to know?

panhypopituitarism might be accurate, and would be helpful to trained personnel - but wouldn't mean anything to a random stranger.

I have an Apple Watch and have one of the medical alert tags that you can out over the strap; I’ve got 6 lines of text down it.

I have my name, 2 contact numbers (hubby and my dad) then adrenal insufficiency and then corticosteroid Dependent.

Hello JD25

Have you looked at - laurenshope.com/

The website has a good range of medical jewellery and gives some good ideas about what to engrave on the Medical ID:

Hi I've got Adrenal Insufficiency, steroid dependent on mine plus an ICE phone number (my husband) The emergency services now recognise Adrenal insufficiency. I have got a silicone band from the ibdband company. theidbandco.com you can have the details engraved on & because it's silicone I can wear it all the time.
