Are you taking T3 only. Or added to T4?
It is stated that 20mcg liothyronine (T3) is approx (in its effect as everyone is different) between 60 and 75 and 25mcg T3 approx 100mcg.
Symptoms of too much would be feeling hot and uncomfortable. (Take temp as it may not have changed too much) but you lower dose by 1/4 (you can split tablets easily with a pill-cutter). Also your pulse could be fast too which is also an indicator of too much.
Adjustments should always be slow and gradual, i.e. every 2 weeks a slight increase always taking account of symptoms and pulse/temp.
We can feel 'hot' but temp may not have moved. This is a previous post:-

Am taking 100t4 and now 20t3 (up from 15)
Results on 100+15
Ft4 19(12-22)
Ft3 5.6 (3.6-6.3)
My pulse is lower now since increase than it was before. Before 70 now 65
Both results are fine. Pulse is also. So rather than concentrating on the results, it is how 'we feel' on particular doses and symptoms resolved which is the very best guide. Unless of course if we feel unwell then blood tests should be taken. Your dose is around 160/170 mcg of thyroid hormones which is about average.
You mean if your FT3 went slightly over-range? Probably nothing at all. But, you could have racing heart, diarrhea, feel edgy, twitchy and anxious. Varies from person to person.
Do you think that it will now that I've increased it to 20? Am joining of maybe lower levo if I stay to feel overmedicated.
Only time - and another retest - will tell. We can't predict how much the level will go up. But, it won't be a huge problem if your FT3 goes slightly over-range. Ranges are man-made, after all. It's how you feel that counts. And, if you felt that you needed an increase in dose, then it makes sense to increase it.
