Feeling 'shaky'

I am post menopaual (59 years old) and have ( last three months or so) experienced hot flushes, and a 'shaky' feeling inside - a few times daily. It seems to occur mostly whilst sitting. I take 125 Levo and supplement with B12, Vit D and K.

If you've not had a recent blood test I would request one but the GP probably wont do all of them. I assume you know the procedue for blood tests? i.e. As early as possible a.m. fasting (you can drink water) and allow a gap of 24 hours between levo and test and take afterwards.

TSH, T4, T3, Free T4, Free T3 and thyroid antibodies. The Frees results are more informative. B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate.

Post your results with the ranges. If GP wont do all of these you can have a private test for those not tested. We have several private labs.

I will give you a link from a Hormone Specialist, just for information and it may be helpful:-
