Short synacthen test

Hi, a few months back I had a short synacthen test..I was told my results were ok..but when I went to see another consultant he didn't say they were bad..but seemed a bit...well..he just said out labs use different ranges..and left it at that.

08:15 - 380nmol/l

08:55- 472nmol/l

09:25 - 492nmol/l

I thought it had to double?

Any advice would be appreciated.

You'e right the values should double & yours haven't. Your base line is a bit low but it hasn't improved a lot which shows that there may be a problem. I'd ask for it to be repeated.
