Is my Graves Disease relapsing?

My symptoms are returning and so far aren’t showing in my labs.

How long do you experience symptoms before the Labs reflect going hyper again?

I’m currently in remission for Graves

I cannot answer your question but those who have/had Graves will respond. I would amend your heading to include Graves so that your post gets attention. To do this click on the down arrow next to 'More' and insert Graves.

Hi SickLeo, my husband had hyperactive thyroid 9 years ago (we didn’t know then that he had Graves’ disease as he wasn’t tested and we generally didn’t know much about autoimmune illness). He went into remission after 2 years and was tested every year when his blood levels were “normal”, although he never asked for a printout so we have no idea what they were or what the tendency was. His last thyroid test was in Nov 2017 (again “normal”) and in January he ended up in the A&E with a massive flare up. He was then diagnosed with Graves’ disease. He had symptoms well before the flare up, I would say a few years. Very first one was his eyes as he has got TED (again only diagnosed this year). Another perhaps more unusual symptom was frequent urination, frequent headaches and tiredness. We have been trying to conceive for past 3 years and now this has been put down to his autoimmune condition so I guess it was doing damage for all this time already. I would say it was definitely years when something was happening in his body and he had no idea what. What are your symptoms? Have you had your antibodies level checked recently?

I had normal T3 & T4 and TSH recently.

My current symptoms are blurry, teary eyes, aching of eye balls just below eyebrows,

Very sore feet, muscle and joint pain, nausea off and on, frequent urination, jittery off and on, anxiety, vivid dreams, difficult to fall asleep and stay asleep, fatigue, feeling like I have the flu without respiratory symptoms, tachycardia, a slowing down in my movements due to pain and fatigue

Sounds like it might be coming back. Maybe you should post your recent blood results with the ranges so others members can also comment.
