I know this has been asked before, and I know there are big differences between brands but my question is how quickly do people notice that a brand isn’t working for them?
I had felt well, the best I had felt in months for about three weeks, but that ended last Monday. A week in and I’m definitely getting worse. My 100mcg tablet is a different brand and as this is the only thing that’s changed I’m wondering if it’s why. Would I notice so quickly though? Clutching at straws trying to work out what’s working and not... aside from my previous posts on blood results obviously!

It was the 100mg of levo that caused all of my problems,I was told by my endo that it was probably the excipient in the drug that was the root of all my reactions. Now on T3 and up to now all is good. The manufacturer of the levo was Actavis.good luck
You are taking a vital hormone which has an impact throughout the body. A small change in how much is absorbed, the speed of absorption, the impurities, the excipients, can all add up.
Imagine, as a simple thought experiment, taking 90 instead of 100 micrograms every day. After a day, you are just 10 micrograms down. After a week you are 70 micrograms down. (I suspect this would be more significant if you on barely enough to begin with!) Or it could be too much!
It is always a good idea to stick with what you have found works for you - unless there is a positive reason to change.
