I was just wondering is I can drink green tea while on my thyroid medication which is levothyroxin.

Yes, but not within about an hour of taking levo - even green tea contains caffeine etc.

Green tea can reduce your ferritin, so watch your levels. White tea is the best.

Green tea is supposed to be good for you but some people with Hashimoto's will react to it because it can increase your autoimmune reaction so the best thing is to observe closely how you feel and and whether you actually like it in the first place or is your 'gut instinct' telling you to avoid it (mine did!).

I have hypothyroid and hashis and Ive used green tea and had no problems. I especially like this natural herbal tea called puritee by ideal health. You can obtain it from Holland and Barrett's for about two quid or so. You drink one before bedtime to detox. When ive had one of these at bedtime I really do feel better the following morning.
