Avoiding dairy?

I’ve gone dairy free but just wondering if it’s just lactose I need to avoid and if so could I include lactose free products?

I’ve gone gluten, grain, soy, refined sugar free so would be nice to have some lactose free products as I’ve already cut out so much of my diary. But I am seeing the amazing benefits!

I thought it was the casein protein that was the problem not lactose

But there is no way I can give up cheese 🧀 🤣

Yeah I’ve researched it but Izabella Wentz says cutting out lactose can be enough for some. Just feels the more I cut out the more I notice I react to other foods. I’m actually getting scared to eat anything other than meat fish fruit and veg and drink water 😩

It's the caesin that's the problem for me, cutting that out was a game changer. Luckily the vegans have paved the way for a wonderful array of non soya based df products including Violife cheese, Koko milk and many other low allergen high tastiness products.
