I'm on a t4/t3 combo 136.5/27.5 and feeling really good. Though I know from past experience that hard exercising and extensive fasting could be adversely and extensively impacting my well being, I feel that good that I want to push up my trainings with longer cardio sessions.
I am thinking to add a small amount of T3 (not combo) after such harder training, a few mg, 3-5 , depending on how well I'm able to split a 25 mg pill, just to help recovery and protect my wellbeing while upping my training.
What would you think of that? Thank you!

This sounds reasonable at these small dose increases. You don't actually run low on T3 with extensive exercise (it would show up in blood tests) but thyroid hormone action produces all the stuff (technical term!) that enables your body to work and with extensive exercise you need a little more of this stuff. You run low on the end products of thyroid hormone action.
To hell with the doubt, I've taken an estimated 4 mg, just 30' after lunch. Discounting the absorption I don't think that more than 2mg will make it into the blood stream and that's really not a big deal.
So, after supplementing with a very small T3 quantity after the 2 hours boxing and cardio training in the morning I can say it was all fine. After 10 minutes a bit accelerated and, considering it was after a solid lunch, the sweetest of sleepiness visited me, while T3 agitation dissipated. Perfect afternoon, no side effects and I feel perfect normal. I wouldn't make a habit out if it and will try not to overdo with the harder trainings but, on occasions, a slight supplementing after such an effort shoudnt be a problem, as long as it's not a habit or too often.
