What's the best home remedies for Under active thyroid?

I'm new here,need help on home remedies for under active thyroid ,usually i make celery juice whenever it starts acting up, but i don,t always get all the ingredients to buy,and i recently try parsley tea for weight lost but that was a bad idea i think that troubled the thyroid since i'm now swollen, in pain, moving slow and very tired all the time it's like i'm creeping into depression

There are no home remedies for under-active thyroid. You need to be on thyroid hormone replacement - levo, T3, NDT.

Wouldn't that be nice if home remedies actually worked? Then none of us would be taking thyroid medication so that we aren't hypothyroid anymore and don't have all of those unpleasant symptoms.

The only thing for low thyroid hormones is to replace those hormones with thyroid medication, just as GG has said. Akenetta, you sound very hypothyroid, with possible Hashimoto's as the cause of you hypothyroid. Hashimoto's is an autoimmune disease where your thyroid is being attacked by antibodies, causing low thyroid hormones.

You need a complete thyroid panel to determine your level of thyroid hormones, as well as testing for two thyroid antibodies. These tests are called TSH, FT3, FT4, and the two antibody tests are called TPOab and TGab. If one of these tests is left out, then you will not know the exact status of your thyroid.

The only home remedy (over the counter) is Metavive or ThyroGold. An underactive thyroid can kill you, after causing heart problems and dementia. Don't ignore it
