Hi everyone, yesterday I felt really ill, like I was coming down with something...aching joints, heavy achy limbs, stomach ache and very tired. I was ok when I got up but I got progressively worse over the course of the day. This morning I feel much better but still have stomach ache so it obviously wasn't a cold or flu type thing. If I didn't know better I would have guessed that I had been 'glutened' but I made all my own meals so I've been wracking my brain and all I can think of is that I had Tesco value brown sauce for the first time on a bacon sandwich at breakfast time. I bought it because it doesn't contain gluten and I have missed brown sauce but looking at the ingredients it does contain sucralose which I don't think is any other foods that I eat. Could the small amount I put on a sandwich cause such a severe reaction??

I don't know about sensitivities, but it is very bad for you and disrupts the gut. It's chlorinated sugar! This article suggests that i could cause flu-type symptoms as well as a bad gut: healthyfocus.org/7-sucralos...
Looking at the ingredients for this sauce, it contains cornflour which is a grain and can cause an autoimmune flare in susceptible people:
