We can, initially, if newly starting on levothyroxine. Our heart and brain need the most thyroid hormones and levothyroxine has to be slowly increased by 25mcg every six weeks. As your dose is increased I hope palps reduce.
If not you may have to switch to another make of levo as the fillers/binders might be affecting you at present.
If you are quite new to taking thyroid hormones, as you increase dose then it should convert to more T3. It is always a slow process to work up to a dose which relieves our clinical symptoms.
I occasionally got supraventricular tachycardia on thyroxine & also ectopic beats(google these?)I do not get these on natural dessicated thyroid or liothyronine.
I think it is because NDT (made from animals' glands) may be more conducive to the human body and levothyroxine is synthetic which may not suit some people. I had to call an ambulance quite often when on levo alone and the worst were during the night.
I hope its that. When I first added T3(only 5 mcgs x 3 times a day )I had to go to A&E on day 3,& was kept in overnight for obs.Next time I tried T3,a few months later I reduced thyroxine down low before & reduced it to zero ASAP.Had 2 very good years on T3-only.
