Do other ladies use Vagifem on a regular basis - one doctor tells me safe to use continuously but another said for 3 months only. The GPs are roughly same age so surely their training must be the same.

Hi,

I was started on vagifem daily, for a month. Since then, once weekly. It helps me avoid vag dryness.

I am informed that used this way, the dose is so minimal it is safe. In fact, I feel more feminine since using it.

For me, the comfort outweighs the risk. Furthermore, I had a one off, ever, in my life, vag infection, prior to being prescribed vagifem. I would not want such an infection again.

I also suffer with Sjogrens syndrome, another autoimmune disease, and vag dryness is one of the accompanying symptoms.

Good luck.

I was told to use it every night for two weeks and then just twice a week. It definitely helps with general symptoms, although it has not been as good as I had hoped.

I only needed it for 2 weeks although prescription was for a month. It was an addition to my first biohrt prescription. It is bioidentical so shouldn't be dangerous long-term, but it is rare to need only oestrogen.
