So I’ve gained a lot of weight - gone up 2 dress sizes - so would that mean my Levothyroxine dose needs to be increased?

Not necessarily, as if over treated you may have a bigger appetite than normal, eat more, and put on weight.

However (sorry) the size of dresses needs to be increased. (I always find it a relief to buy bigger dresses as they can be quite slimming. I cut the labels out as soon as I get home!)

Boring I know but check out the Paleo Diet. My daughter who has Hash's went from 65kg to 54kg and felt great.

Thyroid sufferers are advised to follow a gluten free diet. The Paleo diet works for hyper/hypor as well. Check out the books online. You will not loose weight other wise. And see feeds on this sight covering GF diet.
