Hashimotos and General Anaesthetic

I have had a google of this but can't find any answers. I had a general anaesthetic on Friday for a relatively minor op. The fatigue I still feel five days on is something else! Wondering if this is related to Hashis or just whether everyone feels this way? Think sometimes our systems are more sensitive to things. Any answers gratefully received and any tips to aid recovery! Thanks in advance.

Did your aneathsetic contain NO - Nitrous Oxide ? If so it would have completely depleted your B12 - a possible cause of your symptoms ....

Thanks that explains a few things. I did have NO before the anaesthesia was administered. I am taking a Vit B complex but wondering if that's enough? Any ideas about what dose of b12 to supplement with?

I would suggest 5000 mcg of JARROW Methylcobalamin from Amazon - to keep under the tongue until dissolved. A B Complex does not contain that amount !
