Perrigo - Mayne Pharma T3 - I have six weeks supply - Looking at options.

Hey everyone,

I haven’t posted here for ages because I’ve been doing great on T3 only. I was just a couple of months away from starting my own income back up.

All that has come crashing down as my pharmacy have told me there will be no more Perrigo T3 (I cannot tolerate a lot of fillers) They’ve offered me SigmaPharm but I react very badly to it. I asked them if they could get Mayne Pharma brand which have taken over the formulation and they came back to me saying only hospitals are allowed to fill prescriptions of this brand (thinking cost may be an issue). My backup supplier has said they won’t replace Perrigo with Mayne Pharma. Options are drying up fast.

I have an appointment with GP not my own because he’s on long term sick leave. I’m desperately trying to get endocrinologist involved but I’m worried I’ll be without anything when six weeks time rolls round.

So, two pronged question. Does anyone have a supplier of Mayne Pharma T3? *answers in Private Message please!*

Or should I give Nature-Throid a go? I can get hold of this but I’m wary of the potential flare it may cause my Hashimoto’s. No idea on dosing either but I desperately need options!

32.5mcg T3

Hashimoto’s dx 2014

Last TSH 2.6 (30mcg my dose was increased)

Thanks for any help! In a real panic about this :(

I'd love to know if anyone has found a source of mayne pharma T3 too

I found a supply but it’s ludicrously expensive. Mayne Pharma have taken a £1.80 per tablet drug and bumped the price to £2.90 apparently.

I’ve secured four months worth of Thybon Henning just hoping this works for me!

Thybon Henning has gluten in so I can't have that one. Would you mind PM'ing me with your source for Maybe Pharma? I can't find this anywhere.

Thybon Henning has corn starch in it but not gluten. I double checked that when I was trying to find a new source.

I’ve also sent you my source to contact regards Mayne Pharma. I honestly would be careful though. Mayne Pharma have a possible problem if their own and supplies may run dry.

Ok that's weird. Just spoke to a pharmacist who stock Thybon Henning and they told me it has gluten in it. Good to know it doesn't. Thank you
