Are there any studies confirming optimal ranges?

Hi have tried searching for this but can only find recommendations and American memes.

Is there any clinical study to back up that t4 should be in top half and t3 top quarter/both high in range?

I'm going to see Dr Bangar privately tomorrow and hopeful I won't need it but would like to take some info with me to back up my need for a dose increase.

Thanks

I've never heard of any studies, but experience tells us that this is were most people feel better. It's not even a question of TSH and FT4, really, it's the FT3 that needs to be where we need it. Optimal is how you feel, it's not a number. If you feel great with your FT3 at mid-range, then good for you. But, if you need it a tad over-range, then so be it. It's all about how you feel.
