No that's rubbish. If originally prescribed by NHS endocrinologist and deemed to have clinical need of T3 and doing well on it it should not be stopped

Look up your local CCG guidelines on Liothyronine
Some/many CCG's have tried to say it's black listed, but it isn't
Endocrinologists are however being pressured into de-prescribing patients

the slight complication is that he is an NHS endo but I have been seeing him at his private clinic and he suggested I start on T3 as don't do well on T4 - thanks you for your help !
would this mean I still have a case for T3 as he is a registered NHS endo ?
My Endo, whigh doesn't prescribe me T3 but has in the past, made a few noises to the effect she is no longer allowed to prescribe. Unfortunately something else came up and I didn't get a chance to question her.
Sounds like Endos have been contacted with instructions that are far stronger than the actual state of things.
Well I pick up my NHS prescription from Boots every month. They tried to take it away but challenged them. Do not accept such a decision.
