I had/have quite bad brain fog and have decided due to this forum to try swapping my tablets to a night 10ish it's only been a few days so far and will trial it for a few weeks. I know a few people feel better on this cycle but my question is does anyone feel worse? Or did they when they first swapped over?

Levothyroxine on an evening.
We have seen a wide range of responses.
If, for example, you went without your morning dose one day, and took it at night instead, you are effectively about half a dose down.
On the other hand, if you took your morning dose and then the same again that night, you are about half a dose up.
Neither of these is dramatic - but it does mean that it can take a while for things to balance out.
Thank you for your reply. I done it essentially half a dose down. I have had a few symptoms including on the day but was under the impression as levothyroxine would still be present in my system that a few hours I wouldn't really notice a change 😕
I could be completely wrong but, if your dose is also only just enough (or even too low), I suspect you are more likely to notice that "half dose down". Whereas if you were very slightly over-dosed, you might not notice anything.
This is not an indication to change anything! After all, it does look as if bed-time dosing is often more completely absorbed in many people.
Keep going and see how it goes.
(I have always taken mine at bed-time so have no personal experience of changing!)
Are you due a blood test soon? It would be good to see the results when you have been going long enough for everything has stabilised.
I've just had a blood test last Friday due to increasing the dose and because I had to wait till after my blood test I decided to move my times the same day. I forgot to get my results tbh I think my tsh was 2.3 or 2.5 or something possibly not sure on t4 or t3 so not due for a blood test unless something changes which I might go in a few months time to check lol I will be honest, I changed the times as I hate waking up extra early to take the tablets to then wait for breakfast and go to work feeling knackerd but I eat and crave for food alot evening to night so the 2 hours before tablets is proving hard for me lol. It's A bad habit that will be kicked shortly hopefully hahaha
Most people would be under-dosed with a TSH over 2. Me included.
So you might have effectively dropped a teeny bit. But, if you absorb better, you will recover that very soon and hopefully would actually improve.
(Dosing by TSH is flat out wrong. But it is what we pretty much all end up having to put up with in terms of GP management.)
Yea unfortunately I'm still new to being diagnosed I think it was roughly November or December last year my gp ill admit isn't always the best but he has been quick to put me in for the initial test and even though he keeps saying "normal range" he's increased it again recently and said if anything changes come back and gave me 6 months of prescription so I'm thinking he may know its down to how I feel more than the figures. Fingers crossed 😂 I've tried to soak in as much info from this site as possible. It has been a great find and hopefully will save me a lot of time that other members have had to waste in the past.
I tried both morning and evening and still felt bad on Levo taking it in the evening made no difference to me, however, some people on here experience a better response it depends of the person.
Yea I suppose its best to try anything if it gives a possibility of feeling better. I find it easier to keep routine with the morning but it was leaving me knackerd. As you felt no difference which did you end up proceeding with. Morning or evening?
I now self medicate with NDT and feel much better, with no thyroid either.
