I’ve paid private for my bloods to be tested. Went to hospital via medichecks to have this done. I’m just waiting now. However, I’ve never been told I had to fast etc so went there straight after night shift. Now read here that advice given to fast. I’m so gutted I spent all that money on a test that’s going to be incorrect.

Don't worry, it just means TSH may be slightly lower than if you had fasted.
On the other hand because you went straight after working all night, your TSH likely higher than if been asleep all night.
I've never fasted for mine
Actually, thinking about it, I have had fasting tests and non fasting ones. The fasting ones have only been when my GP wanted to do a full MOT and test fasting blood glucose as well as my usual thyroid tests. From personal experience I haven't seen any difference between the non fasting or fasting thyroid results.
