I have headaches every day, some are so severe I can only go to bed.
These are getting worse, they began a few years ago when I first got an under active thyroid.
Is this a normal thing and how do I get my G.P. to help?

How much Levothyroxine are you taking
Can you add most recent results and ranges for TSH, FT3 and FT4, plus have you also had thyroid antibodies tested
Also helpful if had vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 tested. Add results and ranges if you have them
Headache can be a side effect of Levo, it's listed on the patient information leaflet . I've had daily headaches for many years and only just realised it could be due to the Levo. No idea what the answer is as nothing else will be prescribed (in my case). Old GP just said take paracetamol, when I said it can't be good to take it every day her reply was just don't take more than it says on the packet!!
Hi, I have migraines which have got a bit better as I've got older, but I do think you should see your GP about your headaches, the GP may be able to prescribe something to help or refer you to someone who can.
