Questions
Hi, is there any relationship to your "legs ache" & exercise (even walking)? Or is it constant? Both of these symptoms (leg ache & jaw pain can be cardiac signs in origin. Have you had a EKG (electrocardiogram)? My (limited) understanding is a EKG can be most diagnostic if taken while you are actually experiencing jaw pain. Also, until jaw pain of cardiac origin is ruled out by a "cardiac work-up" (i.e. Immediate doctor evaluation, EKG, blood work) avoiding exertion is recommended as it increases oxygen consumption, & jaw pain could be a sign your heart wants oxygen. That is why a "cardiac origin" for your jaw pain should be ruled out promptly. Does your doctor's practice have a doctor "on call" (if their business hours are over) you could call & talk to? Or can someone you know drive you to a nearby "Urgent Care" setting for prompt evaluation? These are symptoms that need professional evaluation so I am going to turn the questions you (& I have asked you) over to the professionals. Please give them a call.
Do you have a thyroid condition
Are you on Levothyroxine, if so how much and how long been on meds
Can you add most recent blood test results and ranges for TSH, FT4 and FT3, plus thyroid antibodies
Low vitamins are common. Have you had vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 tested
Add results and ranges if done. Get tested if not
Low vitamin D frequently causes bone pain
I wish I had remembered to mention earlier that there are numerous conditions that can reduce ones oxygen carrying capacities (anemia commonly). They can mimic cardiac disease. If your situation is anxiety provoking, anxiety alone will increase your oxygen demands. Although it is good to follow your gut feelings about health matters (in my opinion), please beware that denial is said to be a feature of true heart disease. If you post your thyroid labs, well versed followers here can help you to sort this out at least from the thyroid end for sure!
