Hi everyone my name is Pete and I have been taking Thyroxine for over 20 years.

Back then my TSH Basel was 98.54 uU/ml. I was never told what caused my thyroid to stop making T4 (FT4 was 0.4 ng/dl).

The test was done by a German clinic (hence German spelling)which also did a test for Anti-Human-Thyreoglobine (TAK) which was 193 IU/ml should be <100.

Humanes Thyreogloblin was 0.4 ng/ml should be in the range ( 2 - 70)

Can anybody tell me if this TAK is evidence that my thyroid has been attacked by my immune system.

Yes it sounds like you have autoimmune thyroiditis with the over range antibody count. Others more knowledgable in this area should comment in due course

Looks that way but perhaps you should update using private blood tests from Blue Horizon or Medichecks.
