TishaB,

Yes, it's fine. I resumed 150mcg after being off it for 4 weeks under medical supervision.

With those results, both on 175mcg Levo and TSH/FT4 being at opposite ends of their ranges, it's highly likely that you have autoimmune thyroiditis aka Hashimoto's. Have you had thyroid antibodies tested and were they raised?

Your endo is ignorant, most likely s diabetes specialist (most of them are) and has no idea how to treat Hypothyroidism.

TPO antibody 908.5 (<34)

TG antibody 376.5 (<115)

Third thread today, all saying the same. Have a read through this one it will explain just about everything you need to know (sorry not a personal reply, off to cook my tea). Come back and ask questions.

Have you read through the thread I linked to?

Yes I have just now. Been told vitamin and mineral levels are fine and don't need improving. Thanks

What are the actual results of those vitamin and mineral tests. Being told they're fine just means that they are somewhere within the range but that doesn't mean they are at optimal levels forms hypo patient.

Do I post on this thread or a new one?

You can add them here, that way you won't get asked questions already covered as all the information will be together.

My Vitamin D levels are fantastic. I take Vitamin D3 drops (1,000 IU) per drop. They are suspended in oil. I take my vitamin D with a fatty meal. This has by far been the best vit D3 for absorption. Maybe you need to switch to a different brand that is suspended in oil. Also, 800 IU is not enough. I needed to take 4,000 IU per day for months before my levels increased to the middle of the range.
