Hi, I was diagnosed with Hashimotos when I was 17 years old. I am now 32. Levels have never stabilsed, as a result my thyroid function is always getting tested every 6-8 weeks. I take 150mcg levo and my symptoms are all a mishmash to be honest - dry skin, constipation, fatigue, joint pain, feeling cold but sweaty, weight gain. No idea if over or under medicated. I felt better on T3 but my current endo has taken this away. GP insists my results are normal.

Thoughts welcome.

Thanks

they should not have taken away your T3. Ask for it back!

With Hashimoto's it's essential to heal the gut. That usually means strictly gluten free

Plus extremely likely you have low vitamin levels

Post vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 results if you have them

If not ask GP to test for coeliac and these vitamins
