Pregnenlone and weight gain

Hi there

I live Australia and had gotten to a point of adrenal exhaustion where my cortisol was extremely low. I was prescribed 25mg a day of pregnenone amoungst other things including medication for hypothyroidism and over a year of taking this, I have grown this huge belly and generally gained a lot of weight that I can’t shift.

Anyone else had this problem with Pregnenlone?

Can you post recent thyroid results and ranges. Being undermedicated can cause weight gain.

High cortisol can also cause weight gain so you may want your GP to check level and to reduce Pregnenolone dose if cortisol is high.
