Night shift working & hypothyroidism

Thoughts please.

My new job requires me to do a 12 hour night shift once a month. I've only done 1 so far and it was ok but am really anxious about the next one. My hypothyroidism is not very well controlled at the moment and feeling really strange (high FT4, low FT3). Am I being melodramatic by saying that I don't feel fit for night shifts at the moment?

Has anyone else had to go via Occupational Health to ensure they are not rostered onto nights?

This shift will enssentially mean that I am up for 24 hours without sleep.

Thanks in advance

I think I'd take my dose just as I went to bed, having last eaten about 2.5 hours before.
