I've upped my thyroxcine to 100mcg from 75mcg. I was having horrible air hunger and tsh was 2.69, ft4 -18.

The breathlessness has eased a bit but still bad some days. Its been a week and a half since the increase.

Thank you

It takes about six weeks for each increase to take effecct. Air hunger can also be caused by low B12 so you should ask doctor to test B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate.

TSH is still too high at 2.59 but when you give results you have to put the ranges as labs differ and it makes it easier to comment.

Shawsis right, each dose change takes 6 weeks to get it into your system. You can't speed it up because of that as you would become very unstuck and have to start again! So patience is needed but just keep telling yourself that you are already on the road to success! Justcpeat the testing when you get to the 6 weeks and increase if necessary and keep repeating till you get there.
